Frequently Asked Questions
What is behind the name Branch and Bloom Farms?
We chose the name Branch and Bloom Farms because it merges the two primary two components of our farm: the chestnut orchard and fresh cut flowers.
What crops do you grow?
We grow a variety of specialty crops on the farm. Our largest crop is chestnut trees with more than 300 planted on our 10 acres.
We also grow an assortment of fresh cut flowers. Our most popular varieties include dahlias, zinnias, sunflowers, strawflowers, cosmos and more.
Stop by the farm periodically for other seasonal produce such as pumpkins, sweet corn and other vegetables.
What do you carry in the farmstand?
It its first season, our farmstand will primarily feature an assortment of seasonal, fresh flowers. We plan to expand our offering to include additional local produce and other specialty gifts. Be sure to check back as we grow and add new offerings!
What are your farmstand hours of operation?
Farmstand hours will vary on a regular basis. Be sure to check out Farmstand page for the most up-to-date schedule.
Do you offer cut flower subscriptions?
We may offer this in the future depending on customer demand. If you are interested, please fill out our contact form and let us know!
Do you offer floral design for weddings and events?
We will not offer wedding and event design for the 2024 season, but may in the future! Please email as us at branchandbloomfarms@gmail.com with your inquiry.
What are your plans for the future?
Our current plan is to expand Branch and Blooms Farms into a fully-operational farm/orchard with retail and event space. We recently purchased 33 acres along US-127 and have begun clearing the space.
